I have been having a great time at my new barn. Love the people, love my new trainer, love the Chestnut boy here in the pic. I had been having issues getting over Reggi but now things are starting to get better. Yes I miss him terribly but Beau is a great horse and such a love. He really likes attention which Reggi only wanted when he wanted it. Beau likes his face touched and kisses on the nose. He is not as built as Reggi but that will come with time and more work. I ride him twice a week and my trainer will be lunging him the rest of the week to build up him topline and muscle tone. He has a small hay belly right now. 

What a face .... He is too dam cute!!

I have recently purchased a new saddle. I am learning to ride English again and loving it. I purchased a saddle that I have wanted for a long time and I had tried once before. I felt very comfortable in it and the one I bought has padding for Beau too.

This is my new saddle. Its a Wintec Dressage 500 with Cair panels. It is one of the most comfortable saddles I have ever ridden in. I had tried one at Equine Affair back in 2011 and loved it. Then I got to try one on a horse and I rode so well in it. I had to purchase it. So I now have a saddle for Dressage and my saddle for Western  for how ever I want to ride. I also jumped for the first time with Beau. It was fantastic. I think I may have an all around horse to ride.
