If Your Not Falling, Your Not Riding

So in a 48 hour period, I managed to fall off 2 different horses. On Saturday last week, I fell off Louis. he went left and i exited stage right. Yesterday I rode Belle, a 16.1 hh Paint, and she lost her footing in the mud and I again exited stage right. This time though I had a great lesson. I rode in a western saddle to see if I can get my balance back and some confidence. I had a blast especially when I got her to canter. Yes I said CANTER!!! i was in 7th heaven. She has a great canter when she isn't sliding in the mud. I am wondering though if maybe I am not cut out to be a dressage rider. I was comfortable in the saddle, I felt more secure, I was more aggressive in my trot , oh ya, and i could post like there was no tomorrow. Hehehe. I was a damn happy girl yesterday. Today I am a damn sore girl but I cantered yesterday so it well worth the pain. I cant wait to do it again. I think I'm going to go buy a western saddle, then I have it when my own horse finally gets here, and I get used to throwing that thing up on someones back. I CANTERED YESTERDAY!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!
